Had to go searching for ingredients for my morning smoothie as I need to go shopping today. This smoothie is packed with vitamin C, B’s, A, K, minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, healthy fats, and fibre. Just shows that with a little creativity, you can fix yourself a yummy, healthy breakfast:
1 cup unsweetened organic almond milk
1/2 a firm, ripe avocado
2 tbsp wheat germ
2 tbsp sprouted & dehydrated flax seeds
2 handfuls of baby arugula/kale mix
1/2 cup frozen organic strawberries
splash of maple syrup
Throw in the Blendtec, puree and enjoy. Mine is good and thick so I am eating it with a spoon but you can add more almond milk if you want it thinner. Enjoy!
